What is your favorite book to teach?

Frankenstein.

What inspired you to become a teacher?

An elementary school in France.

Where is your favorite spot to run on campus?

The trails on the ridge.

What do you listen to while running?

Nothing… Nature.

What is your favorite piece of advice you were ever given?

My mom told me that you should always try something because you can always go back. You can always undo it. But you’ll regret not doing it.

Are you currently reading any books for pleasure?

Yes, I am reading a book called I Have Some Questions For You, it’s about a crime committed at a boarding school. It’s fiction!

Do you have a favorite Deerfield tradition?

I like the evensong.

If you weren’t a teacher what do you think you would be doing?

My dream would be to be a food or travel journalist, but really, I would probably just be working at an office.
