Mary Edmonds ’19 and Deirdre Mullowney ’19 have both started their collegiate careers with a bang, playing for Holy Cross and Boston College Women’s Ice Hockey, respectively.

The two faced off on October 3. While BC went away with the win, both Edmonds and Mullowney entered the game and were able to make impacts for their teams.Edmonds has made a splash at forward for the Crusaders while Mullowney holds down the fort on the defensive end for the Eagles. We cannot wait to see all of their accomplishments in the future!

We asked them both to describe how their athletic experiences at Deerfield prepared them for starting their college careers. They reflected with nostalgia and gratitude for the Deerfield girls hockey program.
